Uncle Roger Debuts Kawan Pan-Asian Restaurant in London’s Chinatown

Malaysian influencer Uncle Roger (Nigel NG) launches Kawan, his first UK pan-Asian restaurant, in Chinatown London. Featuring family-style dishes with a modern British twist and a focus on sharing, it's backed by Keng Yew and Daren Liew.

The restaurant’s name, Kawan, indicating “buddy” or “buddy”, mirrors the restaurant’s focus on sharing, socialisation, and a relaxed hospitality experience. Intentionally developed to be a dynamic, welcoming, and informal environment, Kawan will be an area that feels definitely London.
